Aadhar Housing Finance Limited (AHFL) has invited applications from eligible students under the ‘Aadhar Kaushal Scholarship’ scheme for the academic year 2025-26 . The main objective of this scheme is to help physically challenged students continue their education by providing financial assistance.
In today’s times, the cost of education is increasing day by day. In addition to this, many students face additional obstacles due to physical disabilities. In such a situation, the Aadhaar Skill Scholarship Scheme has become a new ray of hope for thousands of students.

Why is this scholarship important?
According to 2025 statistics, there are about 268 million physically disabled people in India . But less than 25% of them complete higher education . The main reasons for this are financial constraints, social barriers and lack of opportunities.
With the aim of bridging this gap, AHFL has implemented this Aadhaar Skill Scholarship Scheme. In the past years, more than 500 students have successfully continued their education by getting financial assistance through this scheme.
Many of the scholarship recipients are now stable in good jobs. Some have started their own businesses and carved out a special place for themselves in society. For example, a physically challenged student from Bengaluru completed his B.Tech degree with the help of this scholarship and is now working in the engineering field. “Without this help, my dream would not have come true,” he shares.
Qualifications – Can you apply?
Some simple and clear eligibility rules have been laid down to apply for Aadhaar Kaushal Scholarship 2025–26.
Educational Qualification:
Students pursuing general degree courses (BA, B.Sc, B.Com) or professional courses (Engineering, Medicine, MBA etc.) in the academic year 2025–26 can apply. All students from first year to final year are eligible.
Physical Disability:
Applicants must have a minimum of 40% physical disability . A medical certificate confirming this is mandatory.
Income Limit:
The annual income of the family should be less than ₹6 lakh . This gives more preference to economically weaker students.
Other conditions:
Applicants must be Indian citizens. Those receiving other government scholarships are not eligible for this scheme. Equal opportunities will be given to boys and girls.
Considering the experience of the past years, more than 70% of the students who applied were eligible, which shows the easy availability of this scheme.
Scholarship Amount – How much aid will you receive?
The amount of scholarship awarded under this scheme is determined based on the student’s course and needs.
- Basic assistance: ₹10,000 to ₹30,000 – for tuition fees, books, and other educational expenses.
- Additional support: Assistance of up to ₹50,000 for students pursuing professional courses, which also includes hostel fees and the cost of necessary equipment.
- Cash Disbursement: Money will be deposited directly through DBT to the Aadhaar linked bank account.
In previous years, an average of ₹25,000 was received per student , reducing the overall cost of education by 40–60% .

- Fill in personal, educational, and income details correctly.
