Indian Navy jOBS The Indian Navy has invited applications for Short Service Commission (SSC) Officer positions for the June 2026 batch. This is a prestigious opportunity for young and qualified candidates to join the nation’s maritime defence force in Executive, Technical, and Education branches.
A total of 260 vacancies have been announced, with separate eligibility criteria for each branch. The application process began on 9 August 2025 and will close on 1 September 2025. Candidates are advised to apply early to avoid last-minute server issues.

Age Limit & Relaxations

Eligibility Criteria (Highlights)
Executive Branch
GS/X: BE/B.Tech in any discipline, 60% marks. Age: 02/01/2001–01/07/2006
ATC: B.Tech with 60% marks in academics & English (10th, 12th). Age: 02/01/2001–01/01/2005
NAOO / SSC Pilot: BE/B.Tech, 60% marks in academics & English (10th, 12th). Age: 02/01/2002–01/01/2007
SSC Logistics: BE/B.Tech or MBA/MCA/M.Sc(IT) or B.Sc/B.Com/B.Sc(IT) with PG Diploma in Finance. Age: 02/01/2001–01/07/2006
NAIC: BE/B.Tech in approved engineering streams or PG in Electronics/Physics with 60% marks.
Law: Law degree with at least 55% marks, recognized by Bar Council of India.
Technical Branch
Engineering Branch: BE/B.Tech in Mechanical/Marine/Production/Aeronautical/Metallurgy etc., with 60% marks. Age: 02/01/2001–01/07/2006
Electrical Branch: BE/B.Tech in Electrical/Electronics/Telecommunication/Instrumentation etc., with 60% marks. Age: 02/01/2001–01/07/2006
